The doctor and NP are great. Front desk and management could use an assist. They are not very pleasant. The manager has messed up my medication delivery twice without an apology. So medical side is great, you just have to decide if you want yo deal with the rest that is not.

I’ve had several visits with the practice to date, under the care of the PAs Sarah and Maryanne. The care and attention I received was outstanding. The providers were compassionate, seemed knowledgeable, and told me what to expect during a diagnostic procedure. They explained test results and provided info needed for follow-up. The medical assistants were also both professional and attentive. I feel confident in the care and information I received, and will return to the practice in the future.

I’ve been going to Dr Kate’s for 2 months (every other week) to see the esthetician, Yogi. She’s Amazing! She really cares and always gives 100%+, when she’s working on my face, removing my year’s old cysts. I am so grateful that I found her. She truly cares about her patients & loves her work. Something that is very rare these days!

Mrs. Kate does exceptional work as a dermatologist. Her skill, professionalism, and the quality of care she provides are the reasons I’ve continued to come to this office.
Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk receptionist was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. Despite me having valid insurance and my last two payments successfully processing with no balance owed, the receptionist repeatedly insisted that I put a credit card on file or leave a deposit “just in case.” This was confusing and frustrating, especially since I have never owed anything for prior procedures or surgeries at this office.
What made the situation worse was the tone and persistence of the interaction. I felt judged and treated differently, as if my payment would not go through, despite clear proof otherwise. As an African-American man and a police officer with solid insurance, I couldn’t help but feel that assumptions were being made based on my appearance rather than the facts in front of her.
I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. While I highly recommend Mrs. Kate for her medical expertise, the front desk experience needs serious improvement. Patients should feel welcomed and trusted not pressured, judged, or singled out.
