Everything I read said you need to see a doctor BEFORE you lose your hair. I couldn’t get in at Penn so I went to Jefferson dermatology twice. I think because I still had a lot of hair they didn’t take me seriously. Fast forward 5 years, I’ve lost 2/3 of my hair to overall thinning. I’ve started myself on finelstrade and oral minoxidil through an online doctor. I wish I had utilized google and self assessment solutions sooner instead of paying a doctor to blow me off.

They don't like to answer their phones until after they have their lunch I guess because I can never get thru until later if you call before 8 it tells you to call back after 8 if you do it tells you to wait if you do you feel like a fool because you realize your wasting your time. After 15-20 minutes I should've hung up. The comments say the same thing when it comes to their phones I'm sure it's not out of somebody's control.

I have absolutely no idea what the other reviews here are talking about. The only point of frustration I had was with the appointment system. It's challenging getting through their phone lines, which can be off-putting. I made an appointment two months in advance and when I called the day before to confirm, they had no record but immediately offered to fit me in at the original appointment time. The office was very easy to find and check-in was almost too easy. My appointment was complete and I was on my way within roughly an hour, which I counted as a win. Their staff, from reception to the doctors, were nothing but friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall, I was very impressed and will absolutely be returning.

I don't know why there were so many negative reviews here. I'm not trying to start a fight, but yes, if you don't have your referral, don't have your copay, don't know to look up which building you're suppose to go to.. then yeah, you're going to have a bad time. Typical doctor's office experience. I had to wait on hold for a little to make my appointment, but that's the norm. I showed up a little early for my appointment and had no problem finding where I was going. After a quick sign in, it was maybe 15 minutes before I went back. I had some things looked at, had some medication prescribed, and I was on my way. I was billed for more than expected but that's for me to sort out with my insurance (and honestly, it was $50, so it's not the end of the world). I'd recommend this doctor's office, and I'll be returning if I have any needs in the future.

Typically I have had good experiences here. I did have a negative event where it took over 2 hrs to hear from the on-call doc and by then my pharmacy was closed. I had a very painful and difficult post surgical night. They should have prescribed something more than Tylenol which did not help one bit. Otherwise, I like the staff and the practice overall. My husband was on-call for one of his jobs and and he was required to respond within 20 minutes and this was before cell phones!! No excuse for that!
