I was hesitant to come here due to previous bad reviews, but I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. The front desk staff were kind and efficient with check in. I was led to a treatment room relatively quickly, where I was seen primarily by Dr. Fathy and his supervisor, Dr. Smith. Dr. Fathy was empathetic and patient and did a wonderful job addressing all of my concerns. He really took the time to listen and never seemed rushed or unsure. He clearly values patient education as well, giving me clear instructions and explanations about each treatment/prescription. Dr. Smith was also so friendly and reassuring. Appointments are historically difficult to come by with JH Dermatology due to high demand but I would 100% return to this location for care in the future.

So if you want to wait 8 months for a an appointment and they will say to call if Simone cancels but they are very hard to reach. The AI appointment verification never works. So good luck guys. Also they don’t seem to take you seriously. Even for simple prescriptions. Had a biop and never got a call from them

I'm speaking on behalf of my daughter here…they take months to schedule appointments, their AI assistant/voicemail doesn't work at all and their medical staff aside from a select few doctors are sub-par at best. Stay as far away from this clinic as you can.

Been calling for almost 2 weeks regarding my prescription not being filled due to doctor not obtaining insurance approval; left voicemail, called nurses line, call customer service & spoke with various customer services reps that say to wait or call again because there is nothing else that they can do. Extremely disappointing, slow to respond and I get different answers every time I call, and said prescription is still not filled.

I would give zero stars if possible. My experience with this office was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The front desk staff displayed a shocking lack of knowledge and professionalism, and I felt misled and mistreated. They provided inaccurate information about pricing and were unwilling to run my insurance. Most concerning, however, was the discrimination I encountered during my visit.
I was seeking laser treatment after struggling with a medical condition that creams and pills had failed to address. However, the staff at this office refused to even attempt to process my insurance, stating that the insurance would only cover the treatment if I was “gender affirming.” Then they insisted they couldn’t "lie to the insurance," which made me feel judged and misunderstood. I was simply trying to receive treatment for a legitimate medical condition.
It is deeply upsetting that individuals who may not have a medical condition, but who seek treatments for cosmetic or personal reasons, can have their procedures covered by insurance, while someone like me—experiencing real health issues—is denied the same access. I was told that I needed extensive documentation to prove my need, even though I was clearly expressing my genuine health concerns. The treatment I received felt discriminatory and entirely uncalled for.
It is unacceptable that an office offering medical services would treat patients this way. I left the office in frustration, but not before ensuring I had the name and contact details of the manager. No one should have to face such treatment in a healthcare setting.
