Review for Dr. Kelli Clair
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Kelli Clair, and I can’t express enough how amazing she is! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly. Dr. Clair took the time to thoroughly assess my skin concerns and explained each step of the process, making sure I felt comfortable and informed.
What stood out most was her willingness to listen and engage in a thoughtful discussion about my treatment options. She genuinely cares about her patients and their individual needs, which made all the difference. I left feeling empowered and confident in my skincare routine.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dermatologist, I highly recommend Dr. Kelli Clair!

I’ve seen Dr. Colonna a few times over the past few years (about 3–4 visits total) and really tried to give this practice multiple chances, but unfortunately this last visit confirmed I won’t be returning.
My main issue was how rushed and impersonal the entire experience felt. During appointments, I often felt cut off before fully explaining my concerns (both medical assistant and Dr. Colonna), and at my most recent visit, medication was being recommended before I could even finish describing the issue. There was also very little explanation about the medication or opportunity to ask questions. Most doctors, even if you’ve taken a medication before, still take a moment to check in and ask if you have any questions since things can change.
My prescription was also sent to the wrong pharmacy (an old pharmacy). By the time I mentioned it, the medication had already been ordered while I was still speaking, and I was told the front desk could correct it. I went to the front, was told it had been fixed, but later found out it was still sent to the wrong location. This delayed me getting my medication and required me to handle the transfer myself.
The overall bedside manner from both the doctor and staff could really be improved. The office felt very rushed and transactional rather than patient-centered. A little more attentiveness, thoughtful communication, friendliness, and customer service would go a long way.
I’m not saying others shouldn’t go here, and maybe other providers in the practice are different, but I would personally recommend looking elsewhere if you’re seeking thorough, attentive care. I hope this can improve.

Dr. Colonnade and the medical team was great and friendly. The front desk lady was slow and spoke so softly even after asking her to repeat what she said. She the front line and needs better communication skills.

I had been avoiding the yearly CA check 🙈and was lucky to get a timely appointment with Kelli Clair!!! Of course I didn't know how lucky I was until I met her and my appointment was complete. I've even been to Hopkins with a "I don't know" response. Kelli is simply excellent. A healthcare provider myself I am an extremely picky consumer esp with docs. I cannot say enough. So please. I must also say the front desk/receptionists were so professional. At one point one of the front desk handed over a credit receipt FACE DOWN! And their work area was so organized and clean. The gentleman that took me back also deserves recognition. So professional and thorough and engaged. I HIGHLY recommend Advanced Derm. In OLNEY - MedStar hospital 18109 suite 370. I do not dread my next yearly. Even though I have some areas to address - I was motivated to do better. Might I also add - Kelli answered questions abt my skin I've no answer to for 3 years. Great job team!!!!

My experience here was very good. Office staff provided clear instructions on referrals and paperwork so everything worked smoothly. Dr. Colonna provided a comprehensive exam with clear explanations addressing all my concerns. Great job all around.
