I had been looking for a Dermatologist since I am new to the area. I found Burke Dermatology through my insurance provider's list. I wish I had done a Google Review search before scheduling an appointment with this place. It would have saved me from wasting time if I had seen their low 2.5 rating. I had a 9:00 AM new patient appointment. Being in healthcare myself, I expected to have to fill out paperwork as part of the new patient registration process. Therefore, I arrived at 8:45 AM. Needless to say, I sat in the waiting room until 10:05 AM. After sitting there and seeing other patients, who I assume were regulars, come in way after me, be seen, leave and I am still sitting there, I decided to walk out. No one communicated to me how much longer until i would be seen or anything. I felt ignored and not valued. For a practice to have five different locations is puzzling if the level of service is like what I experienced at the 1058 S. Governors location in Dover, DE. They need to let patients do pre-registration online, like other healthcare practices I have gone to. Having someone sitting with a clipboard full of forms is so antiquated. I also found it to be VERY uncomfortable how their restroom is located inside the waiting area. There is no television to drown out the sound of people urinating or defecating. It was a complete waist of my morning. Lesson learned. I will make it a point going forward to read the Google Reviews for every healthcare practice. Often healthcare providers forget they are a business and patients are the consumers. If you provided terrible services, expect to lose patients and money. I hope the staff at Burke Dermatology realize, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

I had a terrible experience here as Dr. Gina Caputo patient. I would come in for my appointment and the doctor failed to provide me enough medication to last until my next scheduled appointment. When they recommended I come back!!! Caputo’s MA Crystal was so unprofessional and rude to interact with. She talk over me while I was explaining my circumstances and was argumentative. I received horrible care here. Stay away from Burke Dermatology, it’s an awful facility!!! I will never be back here again.

This review is for Dr. Howard Brooks who's an excellent dermatologist. He's knowledgeable and kind, and has a great way of communicating with his patients. I've always found him to be honest and he doesn't try to sell you some procedure or lotion, ect you don't need.

This office is trash!! It’s no one you should spent over 15 minutes on hold with no apology. Whenever you start explaining the issue you’re immediately cut off and over talked. How many times do you have to provide a call back number and no one calls back. For the past TWO MONTHS they’ve been blamed the insurance company for a prescription that is medically needed and it still isn’t correct and when you ask to speak with the manager she’s never available, also asked to speak with Dr.Bright never received a phone call. I can go one and one but why bother but I will say they need new staff members, supervisors, managers, and doctors asap!

Terrible customer service and appointment booking. Was told an appointment was available then had to hang up and call right back. 2 minutes off the phone. Got put on hold for 20 minutes then told the appointment was gone. Absolutely a joke. Phone clerks have a nasty attitude
