I had called AA derm who I have been to for previous issues I’ve had with my skin and these He was my previous provider that was awesome. Yesterday was my first time with Dr. Gamber. I called because I have two skin tags under my armpit. When I called to schedule an appt I told them what the issue was. When I go there they take my insurance- my copay was 40$. When I went to see the dr. She tells me that this isn’t covered and it’s going to be $100 for removal up to 5 skin tags. This should have been discussed prior to coming in for my appointment that it wouldn’t have been covered. Dr. Gamber never once touched me. She had the medical tech put in the anesthesia and then the student or whoever was following her cut them off. I don’t know why they would take my insurance if the visit was out of pocket anyways. I have called billing but I have been on hold for forever. I would not go to this office again. You should set expectations for your patients before coming in and not surprise them with out of pocket costs. Why bill my insurance and make me pay a copay if it wasn’t covered anyways?

Today my father had a dermatology appointment at this office. He pays for his medical insurance and, like any patient, expects to be treated with respect.
Unfortunately, his experience was very disappointing. My father does not speak English, and instead of being patient or trying to help, the receptionist became visibly upset and raised her tone. Even though my father couldn’t understand what she was saying, it was clear from her attitude and body language that she was annoyed. People around were staring because of how uncomfortable and tense the situation became.
This felt discriminatory and deeply inappropriate. We live in a diverse country, and healthcare providers should be prepared to assist patients from different backgrounds with basic empathy and professionalism.
When you are paying for medical insurance and trusting a clinic with your health, you expect kindness and understanding — not hostility.
I hope management addresses this issue seriously. No patient should feel embarrassed or mistreated simply because they don’t speak English.
I would also like to clarify that Dr. Harly was excellent, both professionally and as a human being. She treated my father with kindness and respect, and even helped him schedule his next appointment. We truly appreciate her care and compassion.

My doctor was great here (Dr. Lonergan, no longer there) but this was one of the worst managed offices I've ever had to work with. The front desk staff were rude (only time I've experienced this) and calling them sent you to a call center that made even getting the most basic clinical and billing questions answered impossible.

Arrived early and was taken back in time. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Facilities were clean and very nice.

First appt earlier. So far all positive impressions. Staff was friendly, doctor was personable and thorough. The check in was all online which in my opinion is a plus. Didn't have to spend time in the waiting room in a tiny chair with a clipboard. If I had any recommendation, it would be the system they use. It's not affiliated through MyChart ( which AA medical center uses). Office right out the elevator on the 4th floor, easy access.
