Today marks my 2nd visit with Dr. Wheat in the last 30 days. I have a 2 pm appointment and it is now 2:45 pm and I have yet to see her. I am here for a scalp biopsy. I am one who considers their time valuable and since she is late; I hope she does not rush my visit like she did for the first.
I was referred to Dr. Wheat by my mother and my sister came into see her too; they both had scalp biopsies; to determine if they had CCCA. Today; is my biopsy. She sent me for an extensive blood panel too. The front staff could be a little more friendlier; it just seems like this is the norm wherever I go; front staff not being really friendly. I walk in today; the staff chewing gum and all. No thank you nothing. Dr. Wheat seems okay but I am not completely sold yet. She does not spend quality time; Not good with eye contact; if any and rushed. She was talking to me and walking out the door at the same time.

I was in and out quickly. The doctor performed a procedure and sent out a biopsy. I received a callback the next day. I like their online portal and prompt service.

They do everything right here. Someone has clearly put thought into how to make their patients have a good experience and get the necessary care.
Office is accessible. You park and go straight to the elevator to floor 3 and turn right down the hall. The front desk staff are helpful and kind. And the medical staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and explain everything clearly. I see Mercy Viator who is wonderful. The whole team is very good. I will always go here and recommend to anyone

After waiting nearly a month to get an appointment, I went to the wrong building (next door), called and told them that I would be 5 minutes late - they said that was ok and I had a 5 minute grace period. When I arrived they told me I would have to wait an hour because I was late. While I was checking in, literally 5 minutes late, they tried to call me to reschedule. So, then I had to sit an hour listening to employees talking about personal stuff and what was for lunch. Definitely one star so far :-(

My wife is disabled and I had to take our 12 yr old daughter to see Dr. Clarke about her eczema and acne and Dr. Clarke refused to speak to my wife and answer her questions over the phone and refused to allow me to read my wife’s questions off my text messages. Horrible bedside manner and I think she doesn’t want to treat African American skin. No consideration for ADA laws or accommodations and no consideration for a tired father who is not an expert in the dermatology field and a confused 12 yr old and everything was extremely rushed like she didn’t care about my daughter as a patient. Would never want to see her again. Would not recommend Dr Clarke to anyone who may need to call their spouse or need any type of virtual appointment or accommodations.
